Chapter 6 Wireless Security
Chapter 6 is about how to set up wireless encryption function and wireless access
control function. AP Router support wireless encryption have WEP, WAP, WPA2,
802.1x. Wireless access control function is MAC access control.
6.1 Encryption Setting
AP Router provide Wireless encryption function. It can support single SSID and
multiple SSID.AP Router is accessed by selects the [Security] item on the Wireless
encryption. There are 11Options for Wireless security.
Security Mode
Disable
No data encryption is used.
OPEN
N standard.
Data is encrypted using the WEP-OPE
SHARED
Data is encrypted using the WEP-SHARED standard.
WEPAUTO
Data is encrypted using the WEP-OPEN/SHARED automatically
choose.
WPA
Data is encrypted using the WPA-RADIUS standard.
WPA-PSK
Data is encrypted using the WPA-PSK standard.
WPA2
Data is encrypted using the WPA2-RADIUS standard.
WPA2-PSK
Data is encrypted using the WPA2-PSK standard and support
Pre-Authentication.
WPA-PSKWPA2-PSK
Data is encrypted using the WPA-PSKWPA2-PSK automatically
choose.
