ENGINE
Disconnect the engine
Cylinder head, cylinder and piston
1. Disassemble
Spark plug
2. Disassemble
Intake tube (the connecting hose joint the cylinder
and the carburetor)
3. Disassemble
Hole cover ,
4. Disassemble
Valve cover (intake)
Valve cover (exhaust)
5. Disassemble
The side cover of the cylinder head
6. Timing adjustment
Aim mark on the rotor at the fixed needle
pointer on the crankcase cover.
Timing adjustment steps
Turn the crankcase anticlockwise with spanner.
Aim mark on the rotor at the fixed needle
pointer on the crankcase. When mark is
in alignment with the fixed needle pointer, the piston
locates at the top dead center (T, D, C).
In the meantime, the calibration mark on the cam
chain sprocket is in alignment with the one on the
fixed needle pointer, the rock arm on both side must
form a valve clearance.
If no valve clearance, turn the crankcase anticlockwise
to meet above requirements.
