Located on the cord of the headset, the volume control should always
be decreased to minimum levels BeFOre turning on radios or any
other audio source to the headset.
once avionics and radios have been
turned on, increase volume to a comfortable listening level. We say it so
much because it’s important; amazing audio isn’t gonna help you if you’ve
blown out your eardrums.
For optimum audio reproduction, always set the source volume
low enough that the headset’s volume control can be fully increased.
If your passengers are using less efficient headsets, point and laugh at them,
then adjust the in-line volume control to strike a balance. make sure they
understand the sacrifice you’re making for them.
