11 

To rinse the evaporator 

−

slowly pour approximately one litter of tap water into the funnel

−

carefully fill the evaporator up to the lower edge of the distillate drain tube (4)

−

drain it through the outlet valve  (9) and close the outlet valve again 

−

repeat the rinsing  three times

−

remove the funnel, and hang the overflow tubing into the sink

−

Unscrew the cap (5), and keep it on the base of the apparatus, behind the level tube

After cleaning 

Let the apparatus run in distilling mode for one hour. Discard the distillate.
