4-6 Install Promise PDC20378 FastTrak Controller Driver

1. Click RAID when Magic Install Menu appears

2. Install Promise PDC20378 RAID Driver

3. Click YES and restart your computer

Windows 2000/XP Driver installation

Boot from Windows 2000/XP , go to: Control panel\System\Hardware\Device Manager

2.

Double Click the "Other Device \ Mass Storage Controller, Select "Driver \ Update Driver",

Change the directory

to

"X:\SATA378\RAID\WINXP" , then

select "OK".

It will auto detect " WinXP Promise FastTrak 376/378 (tm) Controller " driver

The path of the file:

For Windows 9X is X:\SATA378\RAID\WIN98-ME (including Win95/98/ME)
For Windows NT4.0 is X:\SATA378\RAID\NT4
For Windows 2000 is X:\SATA378\RAID\WIN2000
For Windows XP is X:\SATA378\RAID\WINXP

NOTE :
When you try to install Window NT4.0/2000/XP OS with RAID functions,
Please copy the NT4.0/2000/XP driver to floppy disk and insert the Serial ATA DISK
from A:\ , then Press F6 key to install driver first when installing OS menu asks you to
