Starting from FW1.0.3, only SSD drives that are shipped by JetStor Technology
can be used as SSD cache. This is to ensure the upmost compatibility and
performance improvement. Other SSD drives can be used as RAID disks only.
TIP:
All the file systems and volumes created inside the pool can all benefit from
the addition of SSD cache.
ZFS
The menu
Configuration -> Storage -> ZFS
or
Configuration -> ZFS
tab of the operation area
provides functions to manage ZFS datasets such as create, edit, delete, take snapshot, auto
snapshot or view the status of the ZFS.
This table shows the column descriptions.
Column Name
Description
Name
The name of the file system or volume.
Type
File system or volume.
Quota (GB)
The Quota of the file system or volume.
Reserved (GB)
Reserved capacity of the file system or volume.
Used (GB)
Used capacity of the file system or volume.
Free (GB)
Free capacity of the file system or volume.
Dedup
The status of the deduplication.
Compress
The status of the compression.
Copies
The number of the copies. (More explanation in Tip.)
Schedule
The status of the schedule.
Original
The original file system or volume of the clone.
#Snapshot
The number of the snapshots.
Functions in the right click menu:
