SETTING BURNER SIZE
Press and release (+- 1 s) the max flame button (c). The valve will open fully for maximum flame
Press and release (+- 1 s) the min flame button (d). The valve will reduce to the minimum flame setting.
Press and hold the max flame button (c). The valve will start to open with small increments. The valve will stop
adjusting as soon as the button is release.
Press and hold the min flame button (d). The valve will start close with small increments. The valve will stop
adjusting as soon as the button is release.
These functions can also be achieved by pressing the max (g) and min (h) buttons on the switch panel
SWITCHING TO STAND-BYE (pilot burner only)
This option can be used if you wish to switch off the burner temporarily. Switching on thereafter will be faster than
switching on from start.
Push the pilot button (b) on the remote, or the pilot button (f) on the switch panel.
SWITCHING OFF
Push the on/off button (a) on the remote or the on/off button (e) on the switch panel.
MAINTENANCE
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that the unit be inspected annually. It is advisable to do this inspection shortly before the winter
season.
During this inspection the following should be checked:
•
Check for gas leaks in the supply line and on the burner itself.
•
Ensure that granular vermiculate is not clogged or restricted with dust. (Replace if necessary)
•
Ensure that coal layout is correct.
•
Remove excess dust from the unit.
•
Check soundness of spark cable. Verify that the spark is generated on the pilot unit.
