Drum Cover
Referring to Figure 8:
1. Place two hose clamps (A) on the ends of the
short hose (B).
2. Slide the upper end of the hose (B) onto the
bottom of the funnel (C) and secure by
tightening the upper hose clamp (A) with a
cross-point screwdriver.
Helpful Hint: To make the following step easier,
place your collection drum (not included) on the
base (Figure 6) with the drum cover on and position
the drum assembly under the hose.
3. Attach the drum cover (D) to the bottom end of
the hose (B) and secure by tightening the lower
clamp (A).
4. Insert three eye bolts, M6 hex nuts, M6 lock
washers and M6 flat washers (E) into the
threaded mounting holes on the drum cover (D)
5. Loop wire hoops (F) through each eye bolt (E)
and secure by slipping two wire clasps (G) on
the ends.
6. Loop the wire hoops over the support plate
tabs (H).
The hoops will relieve strain on the hose (B) by
supporting the drum cover (D) when the drum
is removed to empty the contents.
Vacuum Hose
Referring to Figure 9:
1. Put grease on the inside of one end of the
vacuum hose (A) and on the protruding
connection tube (C) located on the side of the
separator.
2. Place a 5/8" hose clamp (B) over the vacuum
hose (A), connect the hose (A) to the tube (C),
and secure by tightening the hose clamp (B).
3. Put grease on the inside of the remaining loose
end of the vacuum hose (D) and on the
bushing (F) located on the side of the collection
drum (installed in the Collection Drum section).
4. Place a 5/8" hose clamp (E) over the vacuum
hose (D), connect the hose (D) to the bushing
(F), and secure by tightening the hose clamp
(E).
