Assembly
The parts required for this section are contained in
two Hardware Packages (Part Numbers: JC3-HD1
and JC3-HD2).
Impeller Housing to Dust Collection
Box
Referring to Figure 1:
1. Place the impeller housing assembly (A)
upside down on the ground as shown.
2. Place the funnel (D) on top of the impeller
housing assembly (A), lining up the ten
mounting holes (E).
3. Secure the impeller housing assembly (A) to
the funnel (D) with ten M8x20 hex cap screws
(B) and ten M8 hex nuts (C). Tighten using
12mm wrench for screws and 13mm for hex
nuts.
Leg Assembly
Depending on your ceiling limitations, the JC-3
Cyclone Dust Collection System can be assembled
as either a 9' (110") or 8' (94") unit.
The 110" (9') unit will accommodate a 55-gallon
steel drum or a 44-gallon plastic garbage can to be
used as the collection drum. The drum cover is
designed to fit either container.
The Cyclone can be configured for 94" (8') to
accommodate eight-foot ceilings. Use a 35-gallon
cardboard drum for the collection drum.
The unit height is determined in the leg assembly.
When the desired system height is known, follow
the Leg Assembly instruction that fits your
particular needs.
