12. DISASSEMBLY
If you do not need your awning for a longer time-period or if you want to dispose
of it, the product needs to be dismounted.
Attention! This task requires at least three healthy adult people.
Attention! All safety instructions in this manual are valid for
assembly and disassembly alike!
•
Retract the awning completely before you begin to dismantle it.
•
Fix both arms of the awning (if still available with the protection band
affixed to the arms when your awning was initially delivered) to avoid
unintended unfolding, as this might cause damage and injury.
•
Follow the mounting instructions according to step 6 in reverse order to
disassemble your awning.
13. STORAGE
If you do not need your awning for a longer time-period, it is recommended to
take the awning out of the brackets and store it away.
•
Make sure the fabric is fully dry before storing your awning away. Storage
with wet fabric might result in mould stains or other damage.
•
Disassemble the awning as described in the instruction above.
•
Store the awning in a dry and safe place out of children’s reach.
14. WASTE DISPOSAL
Do not dispose this awning with regular household waste.
To prevent possible harm to the environment or human
health from uncontrolled waste, recycle it responsibly to
promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To
return your used device, please use the locally offered
return and collection systems or contact your retailer to take
the product back for environmentally safe recycling.
Dispose of packing materials according to local guidelines.
