PROBLEM

CAUSE

SOLUTION

After initiating a startup
cycle nothing happens

ECU is not getting proper signal from
Receiver

Check or perform the transmitter
setup, check you have the trim up
position on the transmitter and the
“Trim Up” message is displayed in
the status line

Start initializes but after
some time the

“Ignition

Error

” message is

displayed

Not enough fuel is getting to turbine
or too much fuel is cooling down the
igniter

Check all fuel lines are properly
primed, verify the fuel valve is
open, increment

the “Initial pump”

value in the start menu, if there is
smoke, reduce the “Initial pump”
value in the start menu

Switch Over Error or
Preheat Error alarms are
displayed

The temperature dropped beyond the
programmed threshold

I

ncrement the “Initial pump” value in

the start menu, check there are no
air bubbles in the fuel line

To Idle Error is displayed

EGT Temperature dropped or the
programmed maximum allowed time
was reached

If excessive flames are present
during

this stage, reduce the “Initial

pump” setting. If no or low flames
are present at this stage, Increase
the “fuel ramp” in the start menu

11 Optional Accessories

11.1 S-Bus Pitot speed sensor

The S-Bus Pitot speed sensor uses dynamic pressure to measure the true airspeed of the aircraft.
Pressure is measured using a pitot tube by finding the difference in ram air pressure and the static air
pressure. See instruction manual supplied with the sensor for full details and specifications.

11.2 S-Bus Turboprop RPM sensor

The S-Bus Turboprop RPM sensor is used to measure the rotational speed (RPM) of Turboprop propeller.
See instruction manual supplied with the sensor for full details and specifications.

11.3 S-Bus Telemetry adaptor

S-Bus Telemetry adaptor is used to interface the POWERPACK/ECU to the various radio manufactures
supported protocols. See instruction manual supplied with the adaptor for full details and specifications.

12 Jet Central BB Software

12.1 Introduction

This application is included to provide a PC interface program to allow user viewing of the data from the
SE POWERERPACK/ECU Black Box feature, see section 5.11 for details.
