BATTERY NOTE AND CARE
- Batteries shall not exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- Be sure that all batteries are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the unit.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommend are to be used.
- If the unit is not be used for an extended period of time, remove all batteries. Old or
leaking battery can cause damage to the unit and may void the warranty.
- Do not dispose batteries in fire. Batteries may leak or explode.
- Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
STANDBY MODE
Standby Mode is when the unit is first plugged into an AC power source (display flashing), or
after all the settings have been made and the time is showing on the display. The radio, CD
player and Aux-in modes are all off, no buttons are pressed and no alarms are sounding.
SETTING THE CLOCK
The LED DISPLAY (#18) will flash when the unit is plugged in for the first time. The unit is
now in
standby mode.
Setting the Time:
1.
In standby mode, tap the TIME
BUTTON (#3)
, the hour digits of
the clock display begin to flash.
2. Repeatedly tap the
BUTTON (#12) or
BUTTON (#13) to
set the hour. Press and hold the buttons for fast
reverse/advance setting. Make sure the correct AM or PM time
is selected when setting the hour.
Note:
The PM INDICATOR (#9) is located in the right part of the LED DISPLAY (#18).
The PM INDICATOR (#19) will light when the hour digits selected are for PM time. The
PM INDICATOR (#19) will be off when the hour digits selected are for AM time.
3.
Tap the TIME
BUTTON (#3)
to confirm
the time and the minute
digits will
flash
.
4.
Repeatedly
tap the
BUTTON (#12) or
BUTTON (#13) to
set the minute. Press and hold the buttons for fast
reverse/advance setting.
5.
Tap the TIME
BUTTON (#3)
to
confirm and complete the setting. The display will stop
flashing
.
Notes:
1. It’s important to finish all the steps in the procedure when setting the clock or your settings
will not be saved.
2.
In standby mode, press and hold the TIME
BUTTON (#3)
until 12H or 24H show on the
LED DISPLAY (#18). Tap
the
BUTTON (#12) or
BUTTON (#13) to select 12Hour
or 24Hour clock display. Tap the
TIME
BUTTON (#3) again to confirm.
