RADIO OPERATION
Listening to the radio:
1. Tap the POWER BUTTON (#6) to turn the unit on.
2. If you repeatedly tap the FUNCTION BUTTON (#6), you will step through the different
modes available: CD ->
Radio -> AUX
3. Tap the FUNCTION BUTTON (#6) repeatedly to select radio mode.
4. The radio frequency will show on the LED display (#18).

Manual Tuning:
Repeatedly
tap the
SKIP
BUTTON (#12) or SKIP
BUTTON (#13)
to
manually adjust the frequency.
6.
Automatic Tuning:
Press and hold the SKIP
BUTTON (#12) or SKIP
BUTTON
(#13)
to automatically tune to the previous or next available station.
7. Tap the VOL + / - BUTTONS (#1 / #2) to obtain the desired volume level.
8. Press and hold the POWER BUTTON (#6) to turn the radio off.
Notes:
•
In Radio mode, the listening frequency will show on the LED DISPLAY (#18) and return to
show the time after 10 seconds. Tap the
SKIP
BUTTON (#12) or SKIP
BUTTON
(#13) once to check the time.
•
Use
Manual Tuning
to select weaker stations that might be skipped during Automatic
Tuning.
•
If the Automatic Tuning does not stop on the exact frequency of the station, for example, it
stops on 88.9 MHz instead of 88.8 MHz, use the manual tuning method to “fine tune” to
the exact frequency of the desired station.
TIPS FOR BEST RADIO RECEPTION
If radio reception is weak, fully extend the FM ANTENNA (#27) and vary the position and
location of the antenna until you find the strongest signal.
To set / recall the radio presets:
The unit allows you to store up to 20
radio s
tations for easy recall at any time.
1. Tap the POWER BUTTON (#6) to turn the unit on
2. Tap the FUNCTION BUTTON (#6) repeatedly to select radio mode.
3. Tune to the desired radio station by “MANUAL” or “AUTO” tuning method.
4. Tap the PROGRAM BUTTON (#11) to enable program mode, “P01” appears in display
and flashing.
5. Press
BUTTON (#13) or
BUTTON (#12) repeatedly to select the desired station
memory for storage.
6. Press the PROGRAM BUTTON (#11) again to confirm the setting.
7.
Repeat step 2 to 5 to store other stations if necessary.
Note:
You can overwrite a present station by storing another frequency in its place.
Recalling the Preset Stations
In radio mode, tap the PLAY/PAUSE
BUTTON (#8), the preset station number Pxx will
show on the LED DISPLAY (#18), tap the SKIP
BUTTON (#12) or SKIP
BUTTON
(#13)
to select the preset stations.
