CD511K

 Radio Operation

Select a Band

Select a Station

Press BAND button to change radio between
three FM bands and one AM band. Each
band stores up to six preset stations.

Seek Tuning

Press the TUNE/TRACK
button 

 or 

 for less than

two seconds to seek the next
clear station.

Press the TUNE/TRACK
button 

 or 

 for more

than two seconds to disable
seek tuning. Press the TUNE/
TRACK button 

 or 

  to

move radio frequency num-
ber up or down one step. If
Manual Tuning is not used for
more than five seconds Seek
Tuning is enabled.

Radio Mode

When you turn the CD511K on the
unit is in the Radio Mode (TUN).

Press the MODE button to advance
to Radio Mode (TUN) if unit is cur-
rently in CD Play (CD) or CD
Changer (CDC) modes.

Local / Distant Stations

Press LO/DX button to choose
between local or distant stations.

Using the LO setting reduces
interference from nearby stations.
LOC appears in the display.
