Product installation and care
Power supply
Before plugging the equipment into the wall outlet, please make sure that the voltage corresponds to the one indicated
on the back panel (max. tolerance ±10%) and that the supply key POWER is set on off (0).
Whenever you connect the equipment to an electric source, you should observe the necessary safety precautions to
prevent the risk of electric shock, for example, avoid operating the appliance with wet hands.
How to plug in and prevent troubles
Connect the appliance only when it is switched off. When you activate or deactivate your audio equipment, please
switch on this appliance at last and switch it off before the others.
Use good quality cables, check their efficiency status periodically. When you unplug the equipment, do not pull the
cable but plug itself, avoid tangling or twisting the cable when you roll it up.
Avoid installing the appliance too close to radio equipment, mobile phones, etc., as they are usually sources of interference.
The appliance generates magnetic fields: avoid placing it too close to television screens, computers, audio and video
cassettes, etc.
Make sure that the place of installation is not subject to industrial disturbances, strong radio frequency interference or
electricity breakage.
When you’d like to make an installation, you should:
 Use balanced cables for microphones, especially for long distance connections.
 Avoid placing the audio cables next to/parallel to electric lines, telephone lines, computer networks,
70V or 100V p.a. lines or to other low voltage conductors.
 Use fire resistant material, especially when making a big installation, even if it is not required by local safety regulation.
Product care
Do not apply too much strength when handling the controls (handles, buttons).
Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight, strong heat sources, strong vibrations, humid or dusty environment or
rain, which may cause damage and even electric shock.
Do not insert any object or liquid inside the appliance for any reason.
In case that you do not use the appliance for a long period of time, please protect it from dust. If the appliance gets
covered in dust, you can “dry” clean it with a soft piece of cloth or a brush. Never use alcohol, acetone or other solvents.
In case of damage
In case of damage, please refer only to an authorized service centre.
