1. To connect, push back sleeve of
socket (fig.1).
2. Hold the Plug and insert into the socket
(fig.2), release sleeve.
3. Push Plug until sleeve snaps forward
locking Plug in Socket (fig.3). (THIS TURNS
ON GAS AUTOMATICALLY).
4. To disconnect, shut off the gas supply, push
sleeve back and pull out plug. (THIS
AUTOMATICALLY SHUTS OFF GAS).
SIDE BURNER HOSE QUICK-CONNECT
1. The side burner hose connects the side burner manifold directly to the main grill manifold. The side
burner hose comes from the factory connected to the main grill manifold.
2. To connect the hose to the side burner manifold, push the hose through the hole in the side panel of the
main grill cart, through the “pie” piece with the granite top, and through the side panel of the side burner
cart.
3. Directions for connecting the Quick-Connect fitting to the side burner manifold are listed below.
4. Once the connection is made, leak test the fitting using the method described in the Leak Testing Section
(page 11).

1. Install coupling half (socket) on gas
supply line in accordance with NFPA
54/ANSI Z223.1 FUEL gas code

Prior to inserting plug test the connection
for leaks only with leak test solution.
Rinse with clean water after leak test to
remove any corrosive residue. Do not use
open flame to test for leaks.
