15m x 9.5mm (3/8") Retractable Air Hose Reel

The reel base is supplied with a 180
°
swivel mounting bracket for mounting on a suitable flat surface (wall, ceiling,
bench etc).
•
Using the four holes in the base, mount the reel in the desired location. Be sure to use appropriate hardware and
tighten securely.
•
Note:
Ensure that the mounting is capable of holding up to 55 pounds in weight. For ceiling mounting, always
ensure that the reel is mounted at least 10 feet above the floor.
•
Do not position the reel in areas of extreme heat or cold. Prolonged exposure to direct and intense sunlight may
affect the integrity of the polymers within the moulded components.
•
Avoid positioning the reel in direct sunlight if possible.
•
Apply PTFE (Teflon) tape or pipe sealant to the supply line threads, attach to reel inlet and tighten securely.
•
Connect air supply to inlet quick connector.
•
Connect your air tool to the outlet quick connector.
•
Check the connection for leakage, also check hose reel for correct operation.

4. Operation
To extrend the hose, pull the hose to the desired length. The hose reel must be released to maintain its length. It may
be necessary to pull the hose beyond the desired length to keep it from retracting.
To retract, pull the hose lightly and allow it to retract. The hose will retract automatically.
Warning:
Do not allow the hose to retract rapidly. Retracting the hose in this way could cause injury or
damage to surrounding property. Always maintain control of the hose as it retracts.
