by relying on the DAC’s volume control, after turning the speakers’ volume up to 
maximum. The difference will most probably not be perceptible, but may be of interest to 
you, nonetheless.  

Q: Is there any point in using a line conditioner or regenerator with these speakers? 

A: No. The power supplies in these speakers can adapt instantly to aberrant power line 
conditions and will filter out line noise as well as anything that could be connected ahead 
of them. Since they can draw up to 600W each, an outboard power system will be quite 
expensive with no benefit. Such devices can be beneficial, however, by supplying clean 
power to source gear that wasn’t designed as well.
