Mechanical adjustment

Needle thread motor replacement

If the needle thread motor is damaged, change the part as follows:

Motor cover

1. Remove the top cover (see page 2).

Disconnect the connector form the face cover.

2. Loosen the setsrew A.

3. Remove the setscrew B to remove the motor cover.

Connecter

6. Remove the setscrews D.

Remove the motor and the needle threader unit from the

carrying handle supporter.

Disconnect the connector of the needle threader motor

from the printed circuit board U1 (see to page 8).

Replace the needle thread motor unit.

To attach:
1. Follow the above procedure in reverse.

Be sure that the metal plate of the motor unit is inserted in

the space as shown when attached.
