Tools

One of the great strengths of the Android oper-
ating system is the wealth of tools, utilities and
productivity apps readily available for free or at
nominal cost from the Google Play Store or other
sources. The XG200’s Tools folder contains a few
examples of such tools.

Backup & Restore

The

Backup & Restore

app

allows manual backup of sys-
tem  settings  and  user  appli-
cations.  Backups  can  be  as-
signed a password. Since the
XG200  does  not  have  a  card
slot,  backups  are  to  Internal
Storage. To restore a backup,
tap on the app’s Restore tab,
select which backup you wish
to restore.

LogTrace

LogTrace

is an example of a

network  testing  and  analysis
tool.  It  can  be  used  to  log  a
variety  of  QXDM  (Qualcomm
EXtensible Diagnostic Monitor)
RF  performance  data.  Log-
Trace  can  also  record  TCP/IP
and other packets being trans-
mitted or received over a net-
work,  or  record  WLAN  driver
data.
