SELECTING A SIM CARD

When selecting a SIM Card to use for your M.I.N.E.

TM

 or I.C.E.

TM

camera we recommend that you either

use one supplied by your corporate organisation or purchase a pre-paid SIM.  We personally utilise the
Pre-Paid Telstra SIM when undertaking trapping campaigns as we have found they offer the greatest
mobile coverage.

Regardless of the type of SIM chosen it is important to ensure that it has been

activated to have both Phone and Data Capabilities, as without both capabilities the camera will
not operate as designed.

NOTE:

During activation of a Telstra Pre-paid SIM the default option is for a Data Only SIM, this will need

to be changed to Phone and Data SIM.

NOTE:

As an Optus SIM can only be used on the Premium Service and NOT MMS transmission.

If you experience issues or have further questions regarding the selection of a SIM, please view our

FAQ’s for further information.
