The installation of electrical devices and appliances (sockets,
switches, etc.) in bathrooms must comply with the legal require-
ments and standards of each country. In particular, no electrical in-
stallation is permitted within 60 cm of the shower enclosure or at
a height of less than 225 cm

The appliance must be powered by a differential cir-
cuit breaker; the operating current must not exceed
30mA.”
Parts which contain electrical components, with the ex-
ception of remote control devices, must be placed or
attached in such a way so they do not fall into the tub.
Powered components and appliances must be accessi-
ble to those persons in the tub.

quipotential connection of the surrounding metal
masses, as required by standards EN 60335.2.60 and
EN 60335.2.105.
