Turkish bath
The Turkish bath function is designed to provide the user with
the utmost comfort, without exceeding a temperature that would
required the advice of a physician (approx. 45 °C).
• (fig. 1) If you are going to be using essential oils in your
steam bath, pour them directly into the appropriate container,
which snaps onto the steam outlet
(located on the seat. In
the Flexa Double model, there are two outlets).
IMPORTANT: the slots where steam passes must be
kept completely free.
Even partial obstruction can
cause excessively high pressure in the boiler, causing
the safety thermostat to trip.
• On ELT 3 versions, place the deviator at the symbol shown
in fig. 2 and open the mixer.
It is advisable to turn the mixer
to cold water, since using very hot water may damage the
system without increasing the efficiency of the function.
• On ELT 4 versions or higher, you do not need to open the
mixer and/or turn the deviator, because water is automatical-
ly drawn upstream from the mixer.
• Press the key (1) as shown in fig. 3. The LED flashes and
the display automatically sets to a duration of 20 minutes. If
the LED is flashing it means that preliminary operations are in
progress which last about 2 minutes.
• You can change the duration of the Turkish bath as you like.
Press the key (2) in fig. 3, and then,
within about 6 seconds
,
change the time via the “+” or “-” keys. You can set a
maxi-
mum of 45 minutes
and a
minimum of 5 minutes;
if you do
not touch the“+” and “-” keys for about 6 seconds, the new
time will then be memorized. You can also change the dura-
tion of the Turkish bath as soon as you set the function, as
well as in the next phase, or even during the function itself.
• Upon completion of the preliminary operations, the heating
of the water in the boiler starts and the LED near the key stops
flashing. After a very short time, steam will start coming out of
the nozzle shown in fig.1:
do not press the key
, as this would
shut off the function.
• About two minutes after the LED stops flashing (steam will
already be coming out of the outlet), the countdown starts,
which can be modified at any time.
• The function stops automatically when the set time is up, but
it can be shut off at any time by once again pressing the key
(1) in the fig. 3.
• One minute before time is up, a beep will be heard. This is
to inform you that the function is about to end. If you want to
extend the time, proceed as previously described. Once the
function is complete, the display shows “00” and the LED near
the key starts flashing again. This indicates that washing and
emptying of the boiler and of the system is in progress. This
phase lasts just over a minute, after which the LED of the key
goes off and the display reverts to clock mode. Only at this
point can you start any other functions via the display.
