5.1. Using the equipment
Follow the steps below to operate your equipment correctly.
• Remove the tank lid and pour the product that will be used.
• Make sure to close the lid correctly to avoid waste.
6. Important information for users
6.1. Cleaning and Maintenance
Keep your equipment in good condition at all times. A well-maintained device is
efficient and easy to operate. Due to contact with various granules, cleaning the
equipment after every use is necessary. To do so, follow the steps below:
ATTENTION!
Only authorized technical assistance personnel can
carry out repair services.
• Hold the equipment as shown below.
• Apply the product at an angle of 0 to 45°.
• Unscrew the three cover screws from the spreader body. Remove the cover
and inner scraper.

• Unscrew the screw that holds the articulation lock and remove the dosage
regulating cylinder.
• Clean all components that had contact with the applied product using a clean
cloth. Do not use any solvent.
• Replace damaged or worn parts.
• Use only Jacto original spare parts.
• To put the dosage regulating cylinder back, aligning the regulating bushing
with the regulating outlet is essential.
ATTENTION!
When operating the spreader, wear personal protective
equipment (PPE), such as boots, gloves, protective
eyewear, and a face mask.
• The articulator body screw must be tightened against the flat surface of the
cylinder pin as shown below.
• Put back the inner scraper and finally the spreader body cover.
OBS.¹: Angles greater than 45° can make applications difficult or impossible, as
product release depends on gravity.
OBS.²: The application angle refers to the 1-liter tank and the 18-liter tank with
a hose.
6.2. Waste disposal
Waste disposal resulting from equipment use, maintenance, or end of useful life
must respect the environment and prevent air, soil, and water pollution. If neces-
sary, waste must be stored in appropriate places and transported by trained and
qualified personnel from companies specialized in this service.
