23. Important notes on IP44 version
Attention:
IP44 means that the cutting device is protected against water (rainfall) from all directions.
It must never be placed in standing water or similar.
Further, the torch is not designed to work waterproof, so he also should not be touched with standing water.
Plasma cutting is performed by means of high voltage and current. Because water conducts electricity, the
cutting surface and its environment must be free of water, and the cutting area to be protected from rain water to
avoid electrocution. It must never be cut in the water.
When working with plasma cutters outdoors or in moist environments, greater attention is needed!
24. Maintenance and safety check
Disconnect mains prior to any service and maintenance work!
The cutting unit is, on principle, maintenance-free. However, make it a rule to carry out the following work:
Clean the welding unit by air-blasting from inside according to pollution level.
Attention:
This Welding unit has to be safety checked every year by JÄCKLE Company or another special qualified
electrician according to the harmonized standard
