kcos networking ip set

Use the 

kcos networking ip set

 command to set the IPv4 or IPv6 address for an interface on the node 

on which KCOS is running. You can designate the address as either DHCP-assigned or static IP.

Syntax

kcos networking ip set [flags] <interface> (<dhcp/dhcpv4/dhcpv6>) || (<IP/subnet> 
<gateway>)

Flags

-h, --help

Display help for the command

Arguments

<interface>

The Interface name.

<dhcp/dhcpv4/dhcpv6>

Designates the address as DHCP-assigned: 

 

l

Specify "dhcpv4" or "dhcpv6" to enable DHCP only on IPv4 or 
IPv6. 

 

l

Specify "dhcp" to enable DHCP on both IPv4 and IPv6.

<IP/subnet>

The static IPv4 or IPv6 address and subnet.

<gateway>

The address of the gateway.
