Serial Interface Features 

2.4.1

 

Debug UART 

RZ/G1E  SODIMM Carrier Board supports  debug  interface  through 

RZ/G1E CPU’s 

SCIF4  interface. This  SCIF4  signals 

from  SODIMM  Edge  connector  is  connected  to  UART  to  USB 

Convertor  “

FT232RQ-REEL

”

  and  to  USB  Micro  AB 

Connector (J8). This USB Micro AB Connector can be used for debug purpose which is is physically located at the top 

of the board as shown below.
