Intended use
This work lamp is used to illuminate working areas at work or at home. The work lamp is suitable for operation in enclosed
spaces and in protected outside areas.
Common 230 VAC consumers with a total capacity of up to 2700 W/12 A can be connected to the two 230 VAC sockets.
Any other use than the one described above will damage this product. It also includes hazards, such as short-circuit, fire,
electric shocks etc. The entire product must not be modified or converted in any manner whatsoever!
Prior to putting the product into service, please read the complete operating instructions thoroughly. They contain important
information regarding the proper operation of the product. It is absolutely necessary to follow the safety instructions!
Safety instructions
The warranty for this product shall be void in the event of damages caused by non-compliance with the operating
instructions! We assume no liability for any consequential damages!
We assume no liability in the event of personal injury or property damage caused by the improper operation and
handling of the product or by the failure to observe the safety information! Any warranty claim shall be void under
those circumstances.

For safety and technical approval reasons (CE), the unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device is not
permitted.
•
The work lamp must only be operated in protected outdoor areas and in dry and enclosed rooms. Do not immerse the
work lamp in water and avoid splashing any liquids on it.
•
The work lamp must only be operated with duly closed housing
.
Injury hazard due to burns or fire!
•
The work lamp must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stresses. These
conditions may damage the lamp.
•
If you detect damages, stop operating the device!
•
Do not allow children to play with the lamp. There is the risk of a perilous electrical shock. Mount and operate the
product in such a way that it is out of children’s reach.
•
The work lamp may only be operated with a 230 VAC/50 Hz power source. Never try to operate the device on any
other voltage!
•
Only consumers with a total capacity of up to 2700 W/12 A may be connected to the two 230 VAC sockets.
•
Do not use the lamp in rooms or under adverse environmental conditions where flammable gases, vapours or dust are
present or might be present!
•
The work lamp must not be put up in areas that are prone to flooding or in areas, e.g. hollows, where rainwater might
gather.
•
Do not leave packing materials unattended. Plastic films or bags, polystyrene parts, etc. may become dangerous toys
for children.
•
In business facilities, the accident prevention regulations of the society of the commercial employers’ liability insurance
associations for electrical systems and equipment must be observed.
•
If there is reason to believe that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be switched off immediately and
secured against unintentional operation. It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if the lamp shows
visible damage, the lamp does not work anymore, after storage under adverse conditions, after heavy transport load.
•
Service and repair work may only be performed by authorized specialists who are thoroughly familiar with the
attendant hazards and the pertinent regulations.
Preparation for initial use
Attention! Before initial use, remove the protective rubber rings which are tensioned around the retaining spring for
transport safety. Heat development inside the lamp may cause fire.
For this purpose, open the housing of the work lamp.
Please also observe the corresponding pictures under „Replacing the light bulb“.
1.
Make sure that no voltage is applied on the work lamp. (Disconnect mains plug!)
2.
Attention! Always switch off the work lamp before disconnecting it from mains.
3.
Remove the protective rubber ring (Fig. 1) and the transparent cover (Fig. 2).

Attention!
Do not use sharp objects as tools to remove the protective rubber ring! They might damage the ring.
5.
Now carefully remove all three rubber rings which are tensioned around the retaining spring of the three light bulbs.
6.
Put the cover (Fig. 2) back on the lamp and re-attach the protective rubber ring (Fig. 1).
7.
During assembly, be sure to check that the protective rubber ring has a good and tight fit in order to prevent any water
from entering.
8.
Now your work lamp is ready for use.
Operation
1.
Before operating the work lamp unwind the cable completely.
2.
Do not put the work lamp on the transparent cover or place it on a wet/humid surface.
3.
Connect the lamp with the 230 V AC power source.
4.
Turn on the work lamp by activating the switch on the back of the housing.
5.
The handle on the back of the work lamp may be set to several positions and thus allows to adjust the work lamp to
various inclination angles.
Attention! Always switch off the work lamp before disconnecting it from mains!
Attention!
Only consumers with a total capacity of up to 2700 W/12 A may be connected to the two 230 VAC sockets.
Make sure not to exceed the indicated capacity of the consumers you want to operate.
Note: The light bulbs work independently from one another. I. e., the work lamp continues to work when one
or two of the light bulbs fail.
