In similar ways , you could respectively get OCR , Photo, and E-mail dialogs as shown below , and
choosing a designated application for each is the initial necessary step before doing other individual desired
settings(See the following directions).

(1) Here are the manufacturer default settings of Image type, Scan size, and Resolution.

(2) After installing “ Button Manager” application, the Button Manager will be automatically launched with the
button setting dialog poping up on screen whenever you restart your iMac or unplug and replug the scanner
USB cable. To close the Button Manager, simply click the square button at the lower left corner.
Click the button to select your desired OCR application
software such as Textbridge (bundled OCR software in
provided CD).
Click the button to set up your desired image-editing
application such as SOAP , which exists in your
computer.
Note: If you do not have any image-editing application in
your computer, you can install and select the
PageManager (bundled in provided CD) as your default
image-editing application.
The default email application , Outlook Express, is
preset.
