Using Your Steamer
Warning! Excessive use is detrimental to skin. Use only once
a day, and no longer than 10 minutes at a time. For normal
skin, use a maximum of 3 times a week. For sensitive skin,
use just once a week. Stop using if skin reaction occurs.
Follow steaming sessions with basic skin care regimen, or
skin moisture may evaporate easily and dry out skin.
When using your new steamer for the first time, you may
discover some water in the reservoir. This is residual water
used in the factory’s inspection, and is no cause for concern.
1 Place steamer on flat, stable surface.
2 Lift Removable Reservoir (3) out from unit.
3 Turn Reservoir Cover (4) counterclockwise to open.
4 Fill with distilled or purified water only.
5 Replace cover by turning clockwise until tight.
6 Slide reservoir back into main unit. Water will flow into steamer.
7
Connect plug to wall outlet and depress Power Switch (1).
8 Indicator light in switch will light up.
9 Allow approximately 30 seconds for steam to start.
10 Keep face at least 8” from Steam Outlet (2).
11 To ensure steam covers entire face, direct steam to point of chin.
12 When water level runs low, steam will decrease. This is not
a
malfunction.
13 Power off by pressing Power Switch (1).
14 Allow steamer to cool off for at least 10 minutes before
adding
water.
Note! When no water is left in reservoir, steamer will shut
off automatically. Adding waters immediately will cause
steamer to function improperly. Wait at least 10 minutes
before adding water.
Care & Maintenance
Drain any remaining water from reservoir after each use. Failure
to do so may cause water stains or unusual odors.
1 Allow steamer to cool off for at least 10 minutes.
2 Unplug power cord from wall outlet.
3 Remove reservoir, open cover, and drain water.
4 Wipe away any water on reservoir surface.
5 Slide reservoir back into unit until it clicks.
To clean steamer’s internals, follow these steps:
1 Fill reservoir with water and slide it into main unit.
2 Hold steamer in both hands and gently shake horizontally
3-4 times without tilting.
3 Remove reservoir and drain water from reservoir and
main
unit.
4 Repeat steps 1-3 a few times.
