i) “F” Checks and Operations (4500 Hours or 3 Years).
1) Engine After treatment
Change the DEF Dosing Unit filter using Cummins procedure 102-002.
j) “G” Checks and Operations (Over 5000 Hours or 4 Years).
1) Overhead Set
Complete the Overhead Set procedure on pages 10-1 to 10-3 of the Cummins engine manual.
2) Engine.
a) Refer to Engine OEM Service Center for recommended testing and maintenance.
3) Engine/ Generator Assembly
Note: All Generator Overhaul items to be performed by a qualified generator/ motor facility
b) Replace Generator Bearings
c) Inspect Front and Rear Bearing Housings
d) Inspect Generator Shaft for Wear
e) Replace Rotor Assembly if required.
f) Replace engine and generator shock mounts.
k) Lamps and Fuses:
1) Check all lamps daily.
2) Check fuses as required.
3) The fuse chart lists all fuses with their location, size, and type.
