WARNING

Before using the scooter, always check:

Safety gear

Always use safety gear consisting of:

•An approved helmet. (Local laws may oblige you to wear a helmet.)

•Knee pads and elbow pads.

•Appropriate clothing.

•Gloves.

•Appropriate shoes.

Brakes

Check the brakes regularly. Pulling the brake lever should make the brakes slow down or stop the scooter. If braking and accelerating at the same

time, the cut-off switch should stop the engine. When not in use, the brakes should not rub or cause any friction.

Throttle

The scooter will go forward when the throttle is turned. Before accelerating, check you are in an open area that is safe for riding, that you can keep

your balance on the scooter, and that you have both hands on the controls.

Tyres

Inspect the tyres for wear and change them if necessary.

Frame, fork and parts

Inspect the scooter carefully before use. Check for damage and see if any parts are loose. Do not use the scooter if it is damaged.

Battery

The on-off switch must be in the Off position when not using the scooter.

WARNING: Use the scooter only when it is ready to use and you have checked and tested it.

Failure to follow these instructions may damage the scooter and void the guarantee.This product is not designed for use on roads.

Adjusting the brake

Tools required: 10mm spanner

Loosen

Tighten

1.To adjust the brake cable, turn the tensor on the brake lever counter-clockwise (to tighten) or clockwise (to loosen). Make slight adjustments until

you get the desired result. If you cannot adjust the brake correctly following the instructions above, check the second diagram.

2.If the brake cable is too tight or loose, use the 10mm spanner to loosen the bolt and adjust the cable. Check the 10mm nut is firmly tightened

before using the product.

WARNING: The brake may cause loss of control if it is not properly adjusted. Consult a qualified professional if you have problems with the

brake. Try out the braking action to get used to it before using the brakes in permitted public areas.

Replacing the belt and the rear wheel

Tools required: 4mm Allen key, 5mm Allen key, two 13mm wrenches, 10mm spanner, Philips screwdriver
