Isolate the unit in a closed compartment so that no air from
the heater will infiltrate the vehicle cab.
•
Choose a sturdy surface in a location that won’t be
unduly affected by vibration and the jarring of rough
roads.
•
Mount the unit with the front panel side facing out
and accessible. Facing out simplifies installation and
maintenance.
•
Open access is required to properly service the
heater. Leave room at the front, and top of the unit.
•
Ensure that the exhaust tubing can be properly and
safely routed to the outside. The maximum exhaust
run for the system is 12’.
