BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW

USER MANUAL

2.2. BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW

The function of the MASTER equipment is to manage the communication with the SLAVE. This
equipment  is  establishing  the  initial  communication.  When  connecting  the  first  time  the
equipment  is  transmitting  the  state  of  the  digital  inputs  and  refreshing  the  state  of  its  outputs
activating/  deactivating  the  corresponding  relays,  depending  on  the  state  of  the  inputs  in  the
SLAVE equipment.

The installation and connection of MASTER and SLAVE equipments are identical.

When you connect the power for first time to the equipments, the incidence relay is activated
(FE) and the following message is displayed “COMMUNICATION FAILURE” in the LCD screen.
When the communication is established between both equipments, this relays is disconnected
due  there  are  not  incidences.    In  case  of  communication  failure,  voltage  fault,  etc.  the
equipments will disconnect the relays that were activated and the incidence relay (FE) will be
activated and the corresponding message is appearing on the LCD display.

 NOTICE:

IF WE ARE GIVING POWER FIRST AT THE SLAVE EQUIPMENT, THE

INCIDENCE RELAY WILL BE CONNECTED IN THE SYSTEM INDICATING THE
FAILURE ON COMMUNICATION, WHILE THE MASTER IS NO CONNECTED TO
THE VOLTAGE

2.2.1. INSTALLATION OF THE EQUIPMENT

NOTICE:

BEFORE  ANY  HANDLING,  CHECK  THAT  THE  EQUIPMENT  IS  NOT

CONNECTED TO THE NET NOR HAS ANY VOLTAGE, OTHERWISE MUST BE
DISCONNECTED.

The equipment is designed to get an easy and quick installation.

It is recommended to install the equipment in a place protected from the inclemency of the
weather,  as well  as  to  put  it  in  a  fix  place.  To  facilitate  this  operation  we  are supplying  the
equipment with some holes that allow fixing it to a wall or at any other element with screws
and studs.

2.2.2. CONNECTIONS OF THE EQUIPMENT

NOTICE:

WHEN  RAISING  THE  TOP,  BE  SPECIALLY  CAREFUL  WITH  THE

CONNECTION  HOSE  OF  THE  MOTHER  BOARD  TO  THE  DISPLAY  CIRCUIT
(LEDS OR LCD SCREEN)

The  outputs  of  the  elements  and  /  or  measuring  instruments  must  be  connected  to  the
transmitter inputs, such as: buoys, alarms, magneto thermal jumps, stop / start confirmation,
etc.

To facilitate the connection of these signals to the circuitry of the equipment, there are various
terminals for this purpose, also in the following pages are attached the wiring diagrams of the
equipments.

The control elements of the pumps or machinery are connected with the receiver through the
relays outputs.
