7.7 5-Tone Selective Calling
For 5-Tone Selective Calling, there are seven standards (CCIR1/2,
ZVEI1/2/3, EEA und EIA) and two user-defined formats available.
For the user-defined formats, the tone-frequency, -length and the
spaces between them can be defined.
A maximum of 32 encoder telegrams, composed of a maximum of
three 5-tone sequences, can be programmed.
A maximum of four individual and / or group encoding telegrams,
can be assigned.
A maximum of 16 telegrams can be decoded per channel.
For each encode-telegram, these commands are available: Gene-
ral, Incoming Emergency, Priority, Security Inquire, Emergency Exit,
Stun, Kill, Revive, Active, Clear Down, Silent Interrogate, ACK1 Rin-
ging, ACK1 Authorisation.
It can be programmed whether the signal is only audible at those
radios that are called or audible at all radios on the actual channel.
Furthermore, acknowledgement, if selected, can be manual or
automatic.
7.8 DTMF
A DTMF telegram consists a maximum of three sequences. A DTMF
sequence can be composed of max. 20 digits (0 - 9, A - D).
