Lone Work
On / Off Lone Work Function
Function secures workers in ciritical environments.
In determinably time intervals, a beep tone reminds the lone wor-
ker to give feedback to the controlling station by pressing any key
periodically. If no feedback is given, the radio switches to emergen-
cy mode.
Emergency Call
Switch on the emergency alarm.
This function can only be assigned to the orange-colored, top key
of the radio. The various settings of the emergency function are
explained in the manual of the software T-UP10.
Cancel Emergency Call
Turn off the emergency alarm
This function can only be assigned to the orange-colored, top key
of the radio.
Scan
On / Off Channel Scanning
Via software one of a maximum of sixteen scan lists can be assi-
gned to each channel.
Each scan list stores the selected channels that are to be scanned,
as well as two priority channels and a variety of scan settings.
When scanning is activated, all programmed channels are sear-
ched; in a ring system; for signals. By default, the LED blinks red,
while scanning is activated. If a signal is detected, the scan functi-
ons stops, the radio remains on this channel and the LED lights
green, until the signal ends. Then, scanning continous until anot-
her signal is detected
For each scan list, the individual parameters, e.g. hold time, can be
programmed.
Priority Channel
A maximum of two priority channels can be programmed for each
scan list.
The scan function stops immediately when a signal is present on
the programmed priority channels. The radio remains on the busy
channel until the signals ends.

H/L Power
Switches between Tx powers high and low if acitvated via software.
Squelch Adjust / Call Cancel
This function is only available with activated voice annunciation.
With each press of the assigned key, the programmed squelch
level ( 0 - 9) is increased by one. After level 9 is reached, the
adjustment jumps back to zero.
Monitor Momentary / Call Cancel
The actual channel is scanned for signals. If a signal is present, the
squelch is deactivated and the signal is audible. If no signal is pre-
sent, the squelch remains activated. The monitor function is only
activated as long as the assigned key is pressed.

Squelch Off Momentary
The squelch off function is only activated as long as the assigned
key is pressed.
When the squelch is turn off, all signals on the channel are audible
and a constant noise can be heard.

Keylock On / Off
Locks the channel selector to avoid accidental channel change.
The PTT key and the dual-function keys are not affected by the
keylock function.
Compander

Improves weak signals
Scrambler
Scrambler On / Off
The scrambler distorts the signal, which cannot be understood by
radios that do not have the same scrambler function acitivated. To
be able to hear the scrambled signal in the original way, it must be
de-scrambled.
Battery Check
Tests the power level of the battery
This function is only available with activated voice annunciation.
The power level is described by the numbers 1 - 4, with number 1
indicating a low power level and number 4 indicating a high power
level.
Rental Time Check
Announces the remaining rental time
This function is only available with activated voice annunciation.
