Important instructions for use
GENERAl
▪
Pre-cooling/pre-heating the stainless steel bottle before filling it improves the thermal performance.
▪
Cold application: The cream/preparation should be cool when poured into the bottle.
▪
If the preparation contains gelatine, set it aside to cool to room temperature before pouring it into the
bottle. After allowing the preparation to cool, fill and charge the iSi Thermo XPress Whip. Store filled
whipper on its side in the fridge for at least 12 hours.
▪
Cold preparations remain cool for up to 8 hours in the iSi Thermo XPress Whip depending on the filling
level and the room temperature (see diagram on the back right-hand page).
▪
A device that is under pressure may be re-cooled by storing the device
on its side
in the fridge for
at least 12 hours.
WARNING
Never store a filled device in the freezer or deep freezer compartment.
▪
Warm application: The preparation should be as hot as possible when poured into the bottle
(maximum 95 °C/200 °F).
▪
Hot preparations remain warm for up to 3 hours in the iSi Thermo XPress Whip depending on the filling
level and the room temperature (see diagram on the back right-hand page).
▪
If a hot or slightly warm preparation has to be quickly cooled down to room temperature after pouring it
into the bottle, the filled iSi Thermo XPress Whip can be left open in the fridge to cool (without the device
head). The device is now ready for use (see “Charging”, page 24).
