RSTP Information interface
The following table describes the labels for the RSTP Information screen.
Label
Description
Root Priority
A value used to identify the root bridge. The bridge with the lowest
value and with the highest priority is selected as the root.
Root Path Cost
The Path Cost to the other bridge from the transmitting bridge at a
specified port.
Max Age Time
The number of seconds a bridge waits without receiving Spanning-tree
Protocol configuration messages before attempting a reconfiguration.
Hello Time (1-10)
The time that the Control Switch sends out the BPDU (Bridge Protocol
Data Unit) packet to verify the current status of RSTP.
2 x (Forward
Delay Time value –1) ≥ Max Age value ≥ 2 x (Hello Time value +1)
