If it is impossible to obtain sides perfectly perpendicular, check that the light beam will be perpendicu-
lar to the screen surface: if necessary, rotate the projector on its axis until the best perpendicularity is
obtained.
If the image is bigger than the screen, it is possible to perform its reduction till a complete filling of the
screen, by pressing the “M” key on the keyboard or “Menu” on remote control (chap. 4 n. 8), then the
right arrow once to highlight the “Image” menu, the down arrow five times to highlight the “Reduce
size” option and confirm with “OK”. With the left and right arrow keys, the reduction can be set
between 100% (original size) and 50% (max possible reduction). Press the “OK” button on the control
keyboard or “Exit” on the remote control (chap. 4 n. 10) to confirm settings. Please note that the
reduction is only possible for the reproduced image, while the OSD is displayed in full size: so it is
preferable to install the projector at a distance that the image will completely fill the screen.
To select the desired signal input, press repeatedly the “Source” key on the command keyboard (chap.
4 n. 19) or on the remote control (chap. 4 n. 4) until the desired source appear on the menu, as
described below:
After selecting the sources PC-RGB, HDMI1, HDMI2 or AV, press the “OK” button on the control
keyboard or remote control: the projector immediately connects the source, displays the image and
reproduces the audio from the internal speaker or from the device connected to the headphone output
jack.
7. INPUT SELECTION
PC-RGB
VGA standard input, analog and RGB, to which connect a three wire DB-15 connector cable, coming
from a PC or laptop not provided with HDMI output (preferable, if available).
HDMI1 High definition input, up to 1080P, with HDMI1 connector located on the left side, to connect an HDMI
M-M 19 pin cable coming from HD decoder, DVD or blue-ray player, game console, PC, etc.
HDMI2 High definition input, up to 1080P, with HDMI2 connector located on the left side, to connect an HDMI
M-M 19 pin cable coming from HD decoder, DVD or blue-ray player, game console, PC, etc.
AV
Analog input with minijack RCA adapter (included), to connect a Scart-RCA or RCA-RCA cable
coming from analog cameras, VHS video recorders, laser discs, etc. RCA yellow socket=CVBS PAL
video signal, RCA red socket=audio left channel signal, RCA white socket=audio right channel signal.
USB1 USB pendrive input with stored multimedia contents as video and audio files, images and texts of
different formats. For compatible formats, refer to the next chapter “Technical data”.
USB2 USB pendrive input with stored multimedia contents as video and audio files, images and texts of
