5. Transport and setting up
5.1 Transport
When transporting the upholstered furniture
product to its final destination, the following points
must be observed:
The upholstered furniture product must only be
transported with two or more persons
Provide the battery and mains adapter with
sufficient protection against damage during
transport
Carefully lift the upholstered furniture product -
do not push or pull it.
Only remove the packaging once it is at the final
position where it is to be set up.
Do not open the packaging with sharp or poin-
ted objects
5.2 Setting up
For proper and safe installation of the upholste-
red furniture product, it is absolutely necessary
for it to be positioned on a level surface.
If the surface that it is placed on is uneven, there
is the danger that the upholstered furniture
product may tip over.
