4.6.3 Route Modes Screen
The second
Road Type
screen, lets you select from the following route types:
Vehicle-Quickest
– Instructs the
GPS
to generate the quickest route when
generating a route to a selected location.
Vehicle-Shortest
– Instructs the
GPS
to generate the shortest route, which may not
be the quickest.
Pedestrian
– Instructs the
GPS
to generate a route suitable for a pedestrian. The
following rules apply to Pedestrian routes:
Generates a route up to ten kilometers (approximately 6 miles), which is not limited
by vehicle constraints, such as one way streets.
When creating a pedestrian route, the
GPS
avoids highways or other roads where
pedestrians would not travel.
Voice prompts are deactivated in this mode.
