In older versions of GSM modems without implemented protection procedures the SIM card
may get blocked after 3 failed attempts and the only method of unblocking it is to supply
the right PUK code. Unfortunately this cannot be performed using the MT-301/302/303/304
module.
The PUK code may by inserted only after taking the SIM card out of module and placing it in
a standard GSM mobile phone. The phone will demand entering of PUK code at power-up.
Entering correct PUK-code unblocks the card and resets PIN fault counter making the card
operational.
