Adjusting the Angle of the Manual Center
Mount Footrest
WARNING!

PINCH POINT EXISTS BETWEEN CENTER MOUNT
FOOTREST AND CASTERS - There is limited
clearance between center mount footrest and casters.
The user’s feet MUST remain on the center mount
footrest while operating the wheelchair. If the user’s
feet are allowed to rest off the side of the center
mount footrest they may come in contact with the
caster possibly resulting in injury.
Release lever located towards the front or center of seat
frame.
WARNING!
Risk of Serious Injury or Damage
Operating the wheelchair with a ground clearance of
less than 75 mm (3 inches) between the footplates and
the ground/floor may cause serious injury or property
damage.

ALWAYS maintain a minimum of 75 mm (3
inches) between the bottom of the footplates and
ground/floor to ensure proper ground clearance while
the wheelchair is in motion. If necessary, adjust the
footplates height to achieve proper ground clearance.
After footplates height adjustment, if the wheelchair
dips forward and the footplates touch the ground
while in motion, please contact your dealer for an
inspection and avoid use of the wheelchair if possible.

Engage the release lever with one hand (not shown) and move
the center mount footrest

to the desired angle with the other
hand.
2.
Disengage the release lever (not shown) to lock the center
mount footrest in the new position.
