Measurement tools are available when you pause imaging or when reviewing a saved image. Touch to
hide the pop-up menu.
To retain annotation, pointer, measurement, and calculation on an image, acquire it. Refer to
Acquiring

Annotation
1.
Touch
Annotate .
2.
Touch the image area. Use the keyboard to type your text.
Note: You must press Enter after typing your text to complete annotation.
3.
Touch

to stop annotation.
Adding pointers
1.
Touch

2.
Touch the image area at the location you want to place a pointer.

to stop pointers.
Measurements and Calculations
Performing Distance Measurements
1.
Distance measurement uses two calipers to measure the length of a straight line between two
points. Touch
Distance
to begin distance measurements.
2.
Touch the image area to place the first caliper and drag to position the second caliper. The
distance measurement result is displayed next to the second caliper.
3.
Touch
Distance
to stop distance measurements.
4.
To remove the last measurement, touch
Undo
.
5.
To remove all measurements, touch
Clear All
.

There are three shape tools available to measure area and circumference:
