For some models, it is necessary to
disconnect the connector plug of the display
panel from the unit.
6. Remove the two screws on the top of the
chassis that hold the cabinet to the unit.
7. Remove the screws from each side of the case
if installed.
8. Hold the cabinet while pulling on the base of
the chassis and remove the chassis from the
cabinet.
9. There may be internal packing protection as
shown below. This packing material must be
removed prior to installation
Prepare the Cabinet
1. Place the air conditioner on a hard flat surface.
2. Locate the foam gasket and top angle rail.
3. Attach the foam gasket to the top angle rail.
NOTE
: Your units may have the seal strip already
attached to the top mounting rail. If applicable,
skip this step.
