Scanner Parameters

2-82 SE 1223 Scanner User’s Guide

Prefix/Suffix Values

A prefix and one or two suffixes may be appended to scan

data for use in data editing. These values are set by scan-

ning a four digit number (i.e., four bar codes) that corre-

sponds to key codes for various terminals.
Numeric bar codes begin on page 4-87. If you make a error,

or wish to change your selection, scan the

CANCEL bar

code on page 2-88.

NOTE:

In order to use Prefix/Suffix values, the Scan Data Transmission For-

mat must be set (see page 2-84).
