8.4.3 Example Connections for Serial Interface
The following figures show example connections between the PEX-400111 and an external device with
our optional products. If the connecting device has its own specific instructions, you should refer to the
documentation that comes with it and follow the instructions to properly connect this product with it. By
using our optional products, the serial interface connector of the PEX-400111 will be converted to 9-pin
D-sub connector. Do not open any input signals. If input signals (CD, CI, CS, and DR) are not used for
communications, connect them to the GND signal.
