Pelvis brace with pressure lock
Requirement:
The patient is sitting in the seatshell�
The pelvic brace is placed on the pelvis with the insertion slide�
Push the insertion slide into the belt lock until it hearably locks while
pushing down the iliac crest with one hand�
Pull the belt back until the pelvic brace sits in the correct position�
Check the correct seating position and the even pressure on the iliac
crest� The two large upholsteries of the pelvic brace should sit central and
with even pressure pressure on the iliac crest�
To open the belt lock push the red Button in the middle of the belt lock�
Pay attention to hold the patient at the same time�
Note:
The adjustment of the belt is usually done once� This adjustment remains
the same even after opening the belt lock� You should check the correct adjust-
ment however after every time�

Pelvis belt with reverse rolls
Requirement:
The patient is sitting in the seatshell�
Place the pelvic belt with the reverse rolls over the pelvis�
Pull the remaining end of the belt through the reverse rolls�
Pull until the pelvic belt sits in its final position� You should check this by
testing the correct seat and the even pressure on the iliac crest�
Fix this position by using the affixed velcro fastener�
To open the perlvic belt loosen the velcro fastener�
Note:
The adjustement of the belt is necessary every time� Always check the
correct fit after applying�

Restraining pants
Requirement:
Before positioning the patient in the seatshell, make sure that
the restraining pants lay on the the seat with no pleats� Sit the patient into the
seatshell� Proceed as follows:
The restraining pants have two ends at the knees, one belt for each leg
with a insertion lock�
Place the respective belt around the upper leg and push the insertion slide
into the insertion adapter, which is on the side of the seatshell�
Repeat this procedure on the other side�
Check the correct fit of the restraining pants� The belts should support the
perlvis without being too tight� Avoid pressure through pleats (danger of
pressure marks!)
