10 . 6 . 5 Breast belt with flip-over flap
The breast belt with a flip-over flap was mounted in the correct position when
adjusting the seatshell� Small adjsutments are possible by using the velcro
fastener�
To open the belt proceed as follows:

Pull the front flap off from the bottom to the top�

Pull the overlapping ends of the breat belt apart�

You can lay the ends of the breast belt over both sides to lift the patient out
of the seat�

To fix the patient in the seatshell proceed in opposite order�

Pay attention that after applying, nothing is constricted and breathing is
not impaired�
10 . 6 . 6 Breast belt with reverse rolls
The breast belt with reverse rolls was mounted in the correct position when ad-
justing the seatshell� Small adjsutments are possible by using the velcro fastener�
To open the belt proceed as follows:

Pull the overlapping ends of the breast belt apart�

Pull the loose end of the belt through the metal flap�

You can lay the ends of the breast belt over both sides to lift the patient out
of the seat�

To fix the patient in the seatshell proceed in opposite order�
10 . 7 Pelvis fixation
10 . 7 . 1 Pelvis brace
Requirement: The patient is already sitting in the seatshell, the pelvic brace is
affixed on one side of the seatshell�

The perlvic brace is placed over the pelvis�

Push the free end of the belt through the adjustment clamp while pushing
down the pelvic brace onto the iliac crest�

Pull the belt back until the pelvic brace sits in the correct position�

Check the correct seating position and the even pressure on the iliac
crest� The two large upholsteries of the pelvic brace should sit central and
with even pressure pressure on the iliac crest�

To open the belt lock push the movable part of the belt clamp� The belt will
loosen and you can then pull it out� Pay attention that you hold the patient
in the chair at the same time�
