Room Monitoring
You can use your handsets like a room monitor. This feature allows you
to call a specific handset or the base unit automatically to monitor the
room it is in. This might be helpful for monitoring a baby.
1. Place a handset in the room to be monitored.
2. In Standby mode, press the
[MENU]
soft key.
3. Press the
[UP]
or
[DOWN]
buttons to choose
Room Monitor
and
press the
[OK]
soft key. The display shows “Room monitor ready”
4. On the unit you want to listen from, press
[INTERCOM]
. The
display lists the handsets registered to the base station. Select the
handset that is being used as the monitor from the list and press
[OK]
. If using a handset, it will automatically go to speakerphone.
If a call is received
during room
monitoring, the
handset that is
listening in will beep.
The monitor handset
will stay silent. All other
units will ring as usual.
